Legendary player for the Indian cricket team Virat Kohli was scheduled to travel to Ayodhya on Monday for the Ram Temple’s Pran Pratishtha event. While Kohli received the invitation and was anticipated to attend, only a select group of cricket players, including Anil Kumble, Ravindra Jadeja, and Sachin Tendulkar, were visible. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) also disclosed on the same day that Virat was forced to miss the first two Test matches against England due to a personal issue. However, other people assert that Virat was there at the Ram temple’s consecration.
Many people on social media have published a photo of Kohli, claiming that he visited the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

But the photo being circulated isn’t from the event. It’s related to another religious event that the famous cricket player attended in the past. It has been reported that a few months back on Ganesh Chaturthi, Kohli paid a visit to his friend Rahul Kanal. The photo that he is sharing of his visit to Ayodhya is actually from that event.

The video of Kohli’s twin did become popular even without him. On this particular occasion, Kohli’s impersonator visited Ayodhya and was besieged by fans who wanted to take photographs. On social media, the video became viral.
The BCCI stated in a statement on Monday that Virat has the full backing of both the team and captain Rohit Sharma, although it did not disclose the precise reason for the player’s absence. For the third, fourth, and fifth Test matches against England, the BCCI has not yet disclosed the team. It is possible that Kohli will return for the final three Test matches, contingent on his personal circumstances.
