Day 3 of the second Test between India and Bangladesh at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur was abandoned on Sunday without a ball being bowled due to wet outfield. Though it did not rain on the day, there were still some wet patches in the ground, including one near the bowler’s run up area. The outfield could not be dried out despite the covers being peeled off.
If India doesn’t win this Test, then it could make their journey to the World Test Championship (WTC) final quite tricky. A lot will be riding on the upcoming 3-match Test series at home against New Zealand and 5-match Test series against Australia.
In reply to BCCI’s announcement on social media about the third day getting called off, fans expressed their frustration and some even labeled the whole situation as “embarrassing”.

Whats the use of richest cricket board when you can't improve the existing stadium?
