Five national-level senior womens’ team would take part in a one-day cricket tournament to be held between December 7 and December 15 at Bhubaneshwar.
Organised by the East Coast Railway in coordination with Railway Sports Promotion Board, the tournament would see Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Tripura and Railways play 10 matches at the Railway Stadium in Round Robin League format.
The inaugural match will be played between Tamil Nadu and Delhi.
The grass turf of the stadium has been re-laid by East Coast Railway Sports Association (ECRSA) which held a preparatory meeting in Bhubaneshwar on Thursday.
