Freddie Coleman has scored a quality half-century against Sri Lanka in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 match. He came out with Scotland at 44/3 but has hung in there with his captain Preston Mommsen and has looked increasingly comfortable. His fifty came off 44 balls and he has done well in strike rotation and has also scored the occasional boundary.

Mommsen is also poised for his half-century and if these two dig deep they can try and score hundreds. But at this point Sri Lanka are still comfortably on top and Scotland need to score at almost 10 runs per over for the next 24 overs or so. The task at hand is daunting for Scotland.

ICC Cricket World Cup 2015: POINTS TABLE

Earlier Sri Lanka posted a huge score of 363 riding on excellent centuries from Kumar Sangakkara and Tillakaratne Dilshan. Scotland enetered the match as underdogs and the first innings justified the tittle. It is not likely that Scotland will make a good chase out of this huge score.
