When the 5-match Border-Gavaskar series between Australia and India, many reports claimed that someone from the Indian dressing room was leaking news related to the team.
Now, a video report by News24 has made a massive claim. According to the report, India head coach Gautam Gambhir accused batter Sarfaraz Khan of leaking dressing room information during the tour against Australia.
According to the report, Gambhir made the accusations against Sarfaraz during the BCCI’s review meeting in Mumbai. The meeting was also attended by chief selector Ajit Agarkar and India skipper Rohit Sharma.
The report said that Gambhir informed the stakeholders that it was Sarfaraz who leaked the information to the media about his dressing room rant following the loss in the Boxing-Day Test.
The report further stated that the stakeholders aren’t happy with Sarfaraz and that the player is unlikely to play for India as long as Gambhir is the head coach of the team. Neither Gambhir nor Sarfaraz have reacted to the report as of yet.
