Geoff Allardice appointed as ICC’s general manager

Australian Geoff Allardice, a former first class cricketer, has been named the ICC's new general manager cricket, succeeding David Richardson, who has been promoted to chief executive of the world body.

Dubai, July 24, 2012

 

Australian Geoff Allardice, a former first class cricketer, has been named the International Cricket Council‘s (ICC) new general manager cricket, succeeding David Richardson, who has been promoted to chief executive of the world body.

 

For the past decade, Allardice has worked with Cricket Australia, most recently as the General Manager Cricket Operations. He played first class cricket for Victoria.

 

“Geoff has a wealth of knowledge and experience gained during his time with Cricket Australia,” Richardson said.
