Germany are the defending champions heading into 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. They have already lifted the title on four occasions. However, have you ever imagined Germany being in contention for playing a Cricket World Cup? So far, there has never been any development on their cricketing culture. Nonetheless, an interesting post came up on Facebook, today, which raises hopes of seeing them in World Cup in future.
German Cricket TV shared an interesting post, offering a chance for cricket lovers to come forward, put their best step forward and grab a spot in Germany’s U-19 World Cup Qualifiers. However, there is a condition: You must live in Germany and be born after 1.9.2000 to be a participant.
So if you are born after September 2000, then it is highly recommended to shift to Germany as soon as possible.
In addition, have some inclination towards the sport, and you may well make it to their U-19 team. Sounds cool, right?
