Glenn Maxwell was dismissed for 11 off six balls after getting caught by wicketkeeper Naman Ojha off the bowling of Trent Boult as Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) lost their third wicket for 60 runs in the eighth wicket of their innings while chasing a target of 186 against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Match 48 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2015 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Monday. SRH finished on 185 for five at the end of 20 overs earlier in the match, propelled by skipper David Warner’s innings of 81 off 52 balls. The hosts enjoyed loose bowling by KXIP for most part of the innings, with KL Rahul and Karn Sharma displaying some power-hitting in the death overs to guide their side to a competitive finish. Sunrisers Hyderabad earlier won the toss and elected to bat, with skipper David Warner announcing the inclusion of KL Rahul, Bipul Sharma and Trent Boult in place of Praveen Kumar, who was atrocious in the match against Delhi Daredevils, Ravi Bopara and Parvez Rasool. Kings XI Punjab, on the other hand, did not make any changes to their side.
