Before the Cricket All Stars starts in America, Glenn McGrath, the former Australia paceman confesses that he is nervous before the event. The event is starting at Citi Field on Sunday morning and features Shane Warne, Sachin Tendulkar, Brian Lara, Ricky Ponting, Matthew Hayden and Andrew Symonds. McGrath admited that he is waiting eagerly for the event to start. The former Australian cricketer who took 563 wickets during his Test career, told that he had to overcome a few nervous starts before he settles for the competition against his former peers. “I am a little bit nervous to be honest as it has been so long since I played,” McGrath said. He also added “I haven’t played in the US before, so it should be good fun.”We have gone out and had a look at Citi Field and it is a pretty amazing place.”In a baseball field normally used by Major League Baseball team, the New York Mets, McGrath coached his teammates on Friday. Locals also gathered to have a look at  the cricketing stars. It is more or less known that the batting team will dominate over the balling team in the small stadium of Citi Field, however McGrath is hoping a change from his fellow bowlers.

“We were at training yesterday and the guys middled some and didn’t (middle) others and they all seemed to go for six. “It’s going to be tough for the bowlers, as per usual.” The 45 years old cricketer didn’t have a lot of fun and neither he had any kind of sightseeing, as he was busy trying to trace his luggage he had lost on his flight from Australia. McGrath confess to be frustrated in the beginning, as he had lost his bag and was without belongings, in a foreign land. “I have been trying to track down my bag as it has all gone missing with all my clothes,” he said.
