South Africa on Wednesday axed their former skipper Graeme Smith from Twenty20 squad for upcoming tour of New Zealand.

South Africa on Wednesday axed their former skipper Graeme Smith from Twenty20 squad for upcoming tour of New Zealand.
Justin Ontong’s good show at the domestic level earned him a place in the squads for the limited overs series, while Jean Paul Duminy makes a comeback into the national side.
South Africa will play three Test matches, three ODIs and three T20 International matches on their tour of New Zealand, which starts on March 7.
Jacques Kallis and Dale Steyn have been rested from South Africa’s T20 fixtures against New Zealand.
Left-handed middle-order batsman Ashwell Prince was also dropped from the Test squad.

Test squad: Hashim Amla, Mark Boucher, Marchant de Lange, AB de Villiers, JP Duminy, Imran Tahir, Jacques Kallis, Morne Morkel, Alviro Petersen, Robin Peterson, Vernon Philander, Jacques Rudolph, Graeme Smith (c), Dale Steyn, Lonwabo Tsotsobe.
ODI squad: Hashim Amla, Johan Botha, JP Duminy, AB de Villiers (c), Francois du Plessis, Jacques Kallis, Albie Morkel, Morne Morkel, Justin Ontong, Wayne Parnell, Robin Peterson, Graeme Smith, Dale Steyn, Lonwabo Tsotsobe.
