England spinner Graeme Swann is confident of putting up a good show against tournament favourites India on Sunday as he says it’s nothing better than silencing the Indian crowd, The Sun reported.

Swann said, “The fact we are playing India in India on Sunday is going to make it a huge game. We had a very poor time of things in the one-day series here a couple of years ago. So that’s certainly something we want to turn around because there is nothing better than silencing an Indian crowd. You don’t want them screaming all day because it is ear-shattering.”

“We will need to raise our standards for it, particularly in the field, because let’s face it we were like a bunch of schoolboys against the Dutch,” he added.

Graeme Swann made his Test debut in 2008 against India at Chennai.

India will take on England in their World Cup Group B match at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium at Bangalore on February 27.
