“Great man has Arrived”: Former cricketer turned Commentator welcomed Ravi Shastri to Australia with a wholesome social media post

Ravi Shastri recently landed on Australia before the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, where Michael Vaughan gave a whole-hearted welcome to the cricketer-turned-commentator.

The much-hyped Border-Gavaskar Trophy is just few days away, and will start with the first Test to be played in Perth from November 22. This series is going to attract lot of media coverage, and many commentators have landed in Australia to give coverage of the series.

One of the most prominent voices in world cricket, Ravi Shastri, has also just recently landed in the continent. Michael Vaughan, who is also in Australia, gave a welcome to Ravi with a wholehearted post on Instagram.

“The great man has arrived Down under @ravishastriofficial .. A glass of red or 2 and a big steak at @palermomelbourne chatting about how India have won the last 2 series in Oz,” he captioned the post.

This Australian tour is the first for Ravi Shastri as a commentator in a decade. He had joined the coaching staff leaded by Duncan Fletcher during the England tour in 2014, and kept his position till the 2016 T20 World Cup.
