Gujarat Titans set to retain Shubman Gill and 2 other players in mega auctions

IPL franchise Gujarat Titans are set to retain their captain Shubman Gill, along with 2 other players in the mega auctions.

Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Gujarat Titans (GT) are set to retain their captain Shubman Gill, along with star spinner Rashid Khan and left-hand batter Sai Sudarshan before the IPL mega auctions.

Uncapped player Rahul Tewatia and Shahrukh Khan are also going to be retained by the franchise.

“Shubman, Rashid and Sai will be retained by the franchise,” said an IPL source.

Gill, who has potential to be a future leader in the Indian cricket setup, has captained for GT fir the first ever time this year when the team finished at 8th position.

The mega auctions is likely to be held overseas in the last week of November, and the teams can retain up to six players through retention or the right-to-match (RTM).
