Half-centuries by Mitchell March and Nicholas Pooran lead LSG to a 5-wicket victory over SRH

Rishabh Pant-led Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) beat Pat Cummins-led Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 5 wickets at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
Winning the toss, Lucknow Super Giants opted to bowl first.
Coming to bat, SRH had a shaky start as they lost Abhishek Sharma and Ishan Kishan by the third over. However, they managed to recover, as the team posted a score of 62/2 by the end of powerplay. As a shock to Hyderabad lineup, Travis Head got bowled out, and the team was under pressure at 80/3 after 8 overs. By the time half innings were complete for Pat Cummins-led side, they were not even at 100 runs.
As the pressure was slowly rising on SRH, their lineup saw the fall of Heinrich Klaasen, which significantly added to the intense clash. Then Heinrich Klaasen unexpectedly got dismissed by the end of 12th over. After that, by the end of 15 overs, Nitish Reddy was also back to the dugout and SRH was half down at 143 runs.
The final 5 overs saw the fall of the rest of the team as Aniket Verma got dismissed in the 16th over and Abhivan Manohar git dismissed in the 17th. Pat Cummins then stepped on the pitch, and his stay on the innings was short as he got dismissed in 4 balls. Mohammed Shami was the next player to go down. The team ended their innings with 190 runs on the board.
The innings for LSG also began on a Shaky note, as Aiden Markram got caught out. The team was at 77/1 after powerplay, and were at 129/2 by the time it was half innings. They recovered well as by the 15th over, they were at 176 runs, and this momentum led to them winning the match by 5 wickets.

The two main highlights of the match was half centuries by Nicholas Pooran, which came in the 7th over. Nicholas ended his knock with a score of 70 runs. Along with that Mitchell Marsh was the second main highlight, as he also scored a fifty by the 10th over. Mitchell ended his knock with a score of 52 urns.
