South Africa managed to remove Zimbabwe batsman Hamilton Masakadza for the hosts to lose their third wicket with 77 runs on the board after 16.2 overs while chasing a target of 272 in the sixth game of the triangular series in Zimbabwe.
Masakadza was looking good on 26 and was building a partnership with Brendan Taylor when the dismissal occured. Masakadza mistimed a full-length delivery outside off-stump, which Masakadza misfires and guides straight into the hands of AB de Villiers at the covers. The dismissal brought an end to a blossoming partnership between Masakadza and Taylor worth 31 runs and also marked the presence of Morne Morkel in the game.
