England limited-overs coach Ashley Giles is mulling over the possibility of including Hampshire opener Michael Carberry in the T20 side for the series against Australia after the Ashes 2013.

According to the Express, Carberry is up on Giles’s list of ‘must-sees’ as the batsman is among the top run-scorers in the FriendsLife T20 series and has been in a prolific form.

If all goes well for the 32-year-old batsman, he might also play in the ICC World T20 2014.

Carberry was last week named in the England Lions side to take on Bangladesh in three One-Day Internationals next week.
