Harbhajan Singh will lead North Zone in the Deodhar Trophy cricket tournament while Shikhar Dhawan has been named the vice-captain of the 15-man squad announced on Saturday.
The zonal selection committee, headed by Mohinder Amarnath, met at the Ferozeshah Kotla to pick the team for the March 18 match in Dharamsala.
North Zone will face the winner of the South Zone and Central Zone tie.
The final will also be played at Dharamshala on March 19. Six players from Punjab, three from Delhi, three from Haryana, two from Himachal and one from SSCB have been included in the North Zone team.
Squad: Harbhajan Singh (C), Shikhar Dhawan (vC), Nitin Saini, Mandeep Singh, Gurkirat Singh, Paras Dogra, Yashpal Singh, Rishi Dhawan, Rajat Bhatia, Parwinder Awana, MS Gony, Harshul Patel, Bipul Sharma, Sachin Rana, Amitoze Singh.
