South Africa lost their second wicket for just 26 runs as Tendai Chatara picked his second wicket of his opening spell by dismissing opener Hashim Amla for 14, leaving the visitors trailing at 26 for the loss of two wickets.
Amla was looking to start flexing his arms a bit after the run flow got stifled a bit due to the loss of the first wicket, in which Quinton de Kock was removed by Chatara for a mere two runs. Chatara decided to bowl a full-length delivery, which Amla mistimed and played a low shot towards mid-off. Elton Chigumbura, who was waiting at that position, stretched both his hands in a dive and managed to emerge jubilant after having taken a great cath to dismiss the South African Test skipper.
