Hawk Cricket wants to expand its business in Gulf

Till now the UK based company exports most of its equipments to Australia.

Hawk Cricket which was founded in 1996, wants to expand its business in the middle-east. The company guilefully makes its cricket bats in the Worcestershire workshop. It also sells cricket garments. Within the last three years company’s profits have risen by 40 per cent. It also offers supplementary services to its clientele viz. leisurewear and embroidery. All its bats are handcrafted. Hawk Cricket has earned huge profits by selling cricket equipment in Oceania for the past two years. It is a family-run company and was established in Stourbridge. It first entered the global scene in 2005 after joining a UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) mission to Australia and New Zealand. Sales in the Oceania now account for 10 per cent of its entire profits. In a conversation with insidermedia.com the company’s co-founder Mike Hawk said, “Exporting our cricket bats has transformed our business and we’ve seen a significant difference over the past two years. As well as Australia and New Zealand, we’re considering new markets in the Middle East.” Till now the UK based company exports most of its equipments to Australia. This is as per a report by UKTI.
