HC reserves its ruling on HPCA’s plea challenging jurisdiction of Registrar

The Himachal Pradesh High Court today reserved its ruling on a plea by Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association challenging the jurisdiction of Registrar of Societies over the Association. A division bench of Chief Justice Mansoor Ahmad Mir and Justice Tarlok Singh Chauhan heard the arguments of HPCA, the state and the Registrar of Societies at length. HPCA, which was registered as a Society, had challenged the decision of Registrar of Societies whereby it appointed an Administrator over the functioning of HPCA after assuming the jurisdiction in the matter.
