New York: As India gear up to take on USA at the Nassau County International stadium in New York for what will be the first-ever meeting between the two sides in an international tournament, the rain threat remains in the contest.
Most New York games have had rain threat hovering in the skies, even the Pakistan vs India game was delayed a bit because of extreme weather conditions at the venue.
Rain can have a part to play in the India vs USA clash as well, but the threat of a washout isn’t likely.
According to Accuweather, there’s about 25% chance of rain at New York’s Nassau County International Cricket Stadium on Wednesday. During the match hours, however, the probability of rain remains only at 7%.
India’s batting on New York’s drop-in pitch has been quite underwhelming until now. So, the Indian batsmen will be looking to finally make their mark in the tournament against an impressive but inexperienced USA side on Wednesday. India will be hoping that the opening pair of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli finally makes their impact on the match.

Even though the pitch has significantly bridged the gap between teams, the USA might find the gap between them and India as too much to bridge.
