Delhi Capitals star wicketkeeper-batter KL Rhaul has been in a great form in the ongoing IPL 2025. Rahul has cored three half-centuries at an average of 60.67 with a strike-rate of 146.18. Rahul is determined to prove a point.

However, some reports suggested that a private meeting between LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka and KL Rahul after a match against Sunrisers Hyderabad could be the real reason behind his departure.

After Rahul played a match-winning knock of 57* for DC against LSG, he had an awkward hand shake with Goenka. The star batter barely made eye contact with Goenka and exchanged a quick handshake. While Goenka seemed to be saying something to Rahul, he barely acknowledged it.
