ICC Champions Trophy 2013: Ryan McLaren saves South Africa the blushes against Pakistan in warm-up tie

Half-century by Ryan McLaren helped South Africa reach a respectable 202 for nine in their 50 overs against Pakistan in their first warm-up match of the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy at Kennington Oval, London on Monday.

After winning the toss and electing to bowl first, Pakistan had the opposition on the mat dismissing seven of their batsmen with the score only on 83.

However, a 94-run stand by McLaren and JP Duminy helped South Africa put up a respectable total on the board.

Asad Ali was the pick of the bowlers for Pakistan picking up three wickets for only 30 runs in his 10 overs. Wahab Riaz also returned with similar figures.
