Team will work hard and come up with more success in future: BCCI acting president
BCCI acting president CK Khanna has praised Indian cricket team for the way they fought back against New Zealand in the world cup semi-final on Wednesday, a match they eventually lost to be knocked out.

The contest, which was split into two days due to rain interruption, turned out to be a close one with India recovering from 92/6 in chase of 240 thanks to blistering fifty from allrounder Ravindra Jadeja and a calm half-century from veteran MS Dhoni.
However, India were bowled out for 221 with New Zealand entering a second straight world cup final.
Khanna said the team will work harder and come back stronger while conveying his wishes. “It was a tough game and I think our boys played their hearts out,” Khanna said in a media release on Thursday. “No one wants to lose a game. Each player tried really hard but it was just not our day. Team India under Virat Kohli played brilliant cricket in league phase. I am sure our team will work hard and come up with more success in future. Congratulations to New Zealand team. I wish them all the best.”
India topped the league stage winning seven of their nine matches with one being washed out. The Virat Kohli-led India were one of the pre-tournament favourites and did justice to their reputation barring the semi-finals where one bad day in the office ended their dreams.
