With the ICC Cricket World Cup fast approaching, the ICC Umpires of the Emirates Elite Panel along with Match Referees underwent a successful training at the Emirates Aviation College in Dubai, last week.

Focusing on the qualities required by the match officials of the elite panel in cricket and other qualities like leadership, team work, attention and passion for excellence by Emirates cabin crew, the training college granted an inimitable milieu to bring these rudiments in the spotlight, reports The Financial Express.

“There is a lot of synergy between Emirates and the ICC – both organisations have a strong focus on preparations, consistent service deliver and a professional team approach.” said Simon Taufel, who currently is the Umpire Performance and Training Manager of the ICC.
