In the ongoing One-Day match between South Africa Under-19 and West Indies-19 in the ICC Under-19 World Cup at Dubai international stadium, Shivnarine Chanderpaul’s son, Tagenarine Chanderpaul is playing for the Windies. The Guyanese left-handed batsman has played just four First-Class games, but is rated highly in the Caribbean.

Just when Shivnarine Chanderpaul is arguably coming to the fag end of his illustrious career, his son, Tagenarine Chanderpaul is ready to take over from his father and amass big scores.

Tagenarine Chanderpaul plays with similar mannerisms like his father and has a slightly awkward chest-on stance though, not as pronounced as his father. Last year, Chanderpaul and son Tagenarine stitched a partnership of 256 runs for Gandhi Youth Organisation against Transport Sports Club in a 40-over game.
