The 2013 edition of the ICC Women’s World Cup is played in India between eight nations. The teams are divided into two groups and three teams from each group will qualify for Super Sixes. The matches of the tournament will be played in Mumbai and Cuttack.
In the group stages, each team will be awarded two points for victory and one point each for a draw, tie or no-result.
Defending champions England are pitted in Group A with India, West Indies and Sri Lanka. On the other hand, tournament favourites Australia will face Pakistan, New Zealand and South Africa in Group B.
