India women lost quick wickets in their group stage match against Australia. India lost Amita Sharma and Poonam Raut, after winning the toss and electing to bat first.

 

Erine Osborne and Julie Hunter had taken a wicket each. Both the catches were taken by Jess Cameron.

 

Skipper Mithali Raj and Harmanpreet Kaur were on the crease as India reached 63 for in 10 overs. Mithali was on 18 and Kaur was unbeaten on 11.
