Overs 17: Poonam Yadav in to her final over and Natalie Sciver brings up her fifty off 39 deliveries. England inch closer to victory. Scores are level – England 112/2

Overs 16: No pacers used by India so far as Deepti Sharma also completes her quota. Amy Ellen Jones finds yet another boundary and that’s 100 up for England. 10 needed off 24 now. England 103/2

Overs 15: Jemimah Rodrigues in to the attack and superb running between the wickets by Natalie Sciver and Amy Ellen Jones. They take England to 93/2

Overs 14: 8 runs off Anuja Patil’s third over, England inch closer to that spot in the final against Australia. England 87/2

Overs 13: Credit to India that they have not allowed England to take the game away. They still are in the hunt. Poonam Yadav’s third over yields five runs. England 79/2

Overs 12: Radha Yadav finishes her quota of four overs. Gives away 20 runs with one wicket to show. England comfortably placed at 74/2

Overs 11: Natalie Sciver and Amy Ellen Jones have firmly put England in command. Dayalan Hemalatha in to the attack and Sciver finds a boundary once again. England 70/2 

Overs 10: England motoring along well here. They move to 60/2 in 10 overs

Overs 9: Indian can’t contain England batters as Anuja Patil concedes eight runs in the her second over. With a boundary towards the deep cover fence, Natalie Scvier brings up England’s fifty. England 52/2

Overs 8: Good running between the wickets by Natalie Sciver and Amy Ellen Jones. Seven runs off the Poonam Yadav over. England 44/2

Overs 7: Anuja Patil’s first over yields seven runs, but there was also a chance created when Natalie Sciver pulled one towards midwicket, but Poonam Yadav let it go through her hands. England 37/2

Overs 6: Another tidy over from Radha Yadav, just five runs off it as Amy Ellen Jones and Natalie Sciver take England to 30/2

Overs 5: England lose Danni Wyatt as she goes for the big one towards the cow corner off Deepti Sharma, only to find Jemimah Rodrigues. Wyatt goes for 8. Three runs off the over. England 25/2

Overs 4: Radha Yadav’s second over yields eight runs with Amy Ellen Jones finding the first six of England innings. England 22/1 chasing 113 to win

Overs 2: Successful over for Radha Yadav as she scalps Tammy Beaumont. Beaumont moved across and went for a slog, only to find Arundhathi Reddy at extra cover. 3 runs of the over. England 6/1 chasing 113 to win

Indian innings

Overs 20: Sophie Ecclestone to finish it off for England and she starts with a single followed by a wicket. Arundathi Reddy comes down the track and is stumped for six. And with a third run out of the innings, Indian innings is all over at 112. Good stuff from England to restrict India after a breezy start by Smirit Mandhana. India lost their last eight wickets for just 23 runs.

Overs 19: Anya Shrubsole back on for her final over and stellar fielding from Danielle Wyatt. Direct hit on the move from covers and Radha Yadav has to depart  for 4. Arundathi Reddy takes a four in the over as India reach 1111/8

Overs 18: 1oo up for India. No rash shots by Indian batters Deepti Sharma and Radha Yadav. Five runs off it. India 104/7 

Overs 17: Two new Indian batters in the middle and they are finding it tough . Dayalan Hemalatha goes for 1 as England skipper Heather Knight takes her second wicket and then her third off the very next ball as Anuja Patil chips one over the bowler’s head. Good catch by Lauren Winfield. Just nine runs off two overs and three wickets for the England skipper. India 99/7

Overs 16: Something had to give. Veda Krishnamurthy was looking for the big hit and she came down the track only to realise she hasn’t reached the pitch of the delivery and goes for a slog sweep, top edge, and taken easily by wicketkeeper Amy Ellen Jones.  First wicket for Kristie Gordon. And Gordon scalps the big fish of Harmanpreet Kaur. The ball grips on the surface as Harmanpreet (16) went through with her shot only to sky it. Natalie Sciver takes a very crucial catch at short cover. India 95/5

Overs 15: Anya Shrubsole returns for her second spell and just four singles off it. India 93/3

Overs 14: Harmanpreet Kaur takes her first six, over long-off fence off the first ball from Kirstie Gordon with an inside out shot, She tries to go straight next ball, lucky the ball lands in no man’s land. India upping the ante here as Jemimah Rodrigues takes a boundary. It is an happening over as Rodrigues goes ariel once again and there’s been a run-out. Rodrigues gone attempting to take the double. India 89/3

Overs 13: Natalie Sciver on to bowl her second over and that’s respite for India as Jemimah Rodrigues uses the fast bowler’s pace to get two boundaries – one towards deep cover and other guided past short third man. 10 runs off the over. India 77/0

Overs 12: Heather Knight brings back Sophie Ecclestone who had given away 18 runs in her two overs and a good move as she maintains the pressure. Three runs off it as Harmanpreet Kaur and Jemimah Rodrigues find it tough to time the ball well. India 67/0

Overs 11: Danielle Hazell continuing the good work with the ball and concedes just five runs. India 64/2 

Overs 10: England are reining things back in as Kirstie Gordon sends down another tidy over. Just 4 runs off it and at the halfway stage of the Indian innings, they are 59/2 in this slow Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound, Antigua.

Overs 9: Skipper Heather Knight brings herself on to bowl and she takes a wicket. Pressure was building and the slowness of the pitch has Taniya Bhatia playing the shot way too early. She came down the track but failed to reach the pitch of the delivery and is caught by Natalie Sciver close in for 11. Indian skipper Harmanpreet Kuar walks to the middle. India 55/2

Overs 8: Chance for a run-out as Rodrigues bolts after the ball takes the leading edge towards short third man, duly sent back by taniya Bhatia but had the throw been accurate, she would have been in trouble. No damage done though. Kirstie Gordon, right-arm medium, starts off well giving away just two runs off her first over. India 50/1

Overs 7: Danielle Hazell continues and tidy over after the wicket by England. Just five runs off it. Jemimah Rodrigues is the new batter in. India 48/1

Overs 6: Sophie Ecclestone redeems herself. A caught and bowled chance presented by Smriti Mandhana and the left-arm spinner doesn’t make the same mistake again. Easy one, but she holds on to it. Mandhana’s breezy knock of 34 off 23 balls comes to an end. India 43/1

Overs 5: Another bowling change and Danielle Hazell, right-arm off break, comes into the attack and fairly tidy stuff from the experienced campaigner. But Smriti Mandhana manages to eke out a boundary off the last ball of the over. India 35/0

Overs 4: Left-arm orthodox Sophie Ecclestone into the attack and Smriti Mandhana punishes her further for the dropped catch. She is swept for a boundary in front of square and the hoisted over the cow corner for a six. India 28/0

Overs 3: Smriti Mandhana taking her chances against Anya Shrubsole and after two two mistimed shots, Mandhana finds the ideal length to cut the ball past backward point and diving third man for a four. Chance though for England as Mandhana plays one uppishly, but Sophie Ecclestone at covers cannot hold on to the tough chance. India 18/0

Overs 2: Smriti Mandhana is off and running was well timed drive for four. Natalie Sciver gives away six runs in her first over. India 9/0

Over 1: And we are underway – Taniya Bhatia and Smriti Mandhana open for India. Anya Shrubsole has the new ball in her hand. Bhatia takes two runs off the first ball whipping the ball towards square leg, but just one run off the next five deliveries for Shrubsole. India 3/0

Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the second semi-final of the ICC Women’s World T20 2018 between India  and England at North Sound.

Australia have already qualified for the final beating hosts and defending champions West Indies by 71 runs in the 1st semi-final earlier in the day.

India have been invincible so far in the tournament, winning all their three games in the group stage. The in-form team will also have revenge on its mind, having lost to England in the 50-over World Cup final last year.

En route to the semi-finals, Harmanpreet Kaur‘s side also hammered three-time former champions Australia in its last pool match.
