New Zealand opening batsman, Martin Gurtill scored his century in the warm-up tie against Zimbabwe at the Bert Sutcliffe Oval in Lincoln on Monday. His hundred came off 85 deliveries. Currently, New Zealand are 157 for the loss of six wickets with Nathan McCullum batting on nine.

Earlier, New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat first. Zimbabwe’s Brendan Taylor opted out to play in the warm-up tie. The warm-tie is an unofficial match and could feature all the members from the 15-member squad. However, only 11 players could take the field at a time.
