South African batsman David Miller has reportedly accepted the challenge of representing his country at a world event. The ICC World T20 2014 in Bangladesh is Miller’s maiden appearance for his team at a World Cup, since making his international debut against the West Indies in 2010.

According to Sport24, Miller said that he has tried to play as much cricket as he can in the off-season overseas and locally in South Africa so that he can withstand the pressures of playing at an international event, adding that with more cricket comes more experience and better decision-making ability.

Miller thrives on his role as the bludgeoning finisher with the bat, and has learnt to cope with the expectation that comes his way on every occasion he steps to the crease, saying that playing in a World Cup is a dream come true for him and another opportunity to do well for the team.
