IND v AUS 4th Test Day 4 Live: Stumps called, Australia lead by 333 runs

With a missed opportunity to get the final wicket, Jasprit Bumrah is on his low energy side. Indian fielding getting loose. Australia 228/9 after 82 overs, lead by 333 runs.

After 73 over of their innings, Australian team has posted a total of 196/9. This score has put their total lead to more than 300 as the team now leads over India by 301 runs.

Scott and Nathan have been making slow and steady runs for their team. Australia 189/9 after 70 overs, lead by 294.

Scott and Nathan are doing their work on nicking runs here and there. Australia 174/9 after 65 overs, lead by 279 runs.

Another wicket has been taken by India as Mitchell Starc got run-out. Australia 156/8.

Mohammed Siraj has finally got the wicket that India wanted. He trapped Marnus Labuschagne in the front. The Australian team asks for a review but that is of no use. Australia 150/7.

Tea has been announced here in Melbourne on the fourth day. Australia looked to have been in deep trouble at 91/6 at one stage, however the partnership between Labuschagne and Cummins has steadied their innings and taken them to 135/6 after 49 overs.

The Australia batter is playing a crucial knock for his side in Melbourne and alongside skipper Pat Cummins, is piling on runs which can turn out to be very important for Australia.  Labuschagne has been great for the Baggy Greens throughout the ongoing Border-Gavaskar series and he continues his excellent form with another fifty.

Australia is looking in deep trouble at the moment as they have now been restricted to 91/6 after losing wicketkeeper-batter Alex Carey for just 2 runs. Bumrah leaves Carey with no answer and clean-bowls him with an absolute ripper.

India pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah has taken 2 wickets in an over and has gotten rid of both Travis Head and Mitchell Marsh in a space of 5 deliveries. Australia is now down to 85/5 after 34 overs.

Mohammed Siraj gets his second scalp of the innings and it comes in the form of Steve Smith, who departs after scoring 13 runs. Australia have now been restricted to 80/3 after 32.3 overs and lead by 185 runs.

After lunch, players have stepped out to the field for the second session. Australia have a lead of 158 runs and currently have the duo of Marnus Labuschagne and Steve Smith on the pitch.

Australian team has managed to score only 53 runs, while having lost two wickets, leading by 158 runs. 25 overs are complete and it is lunch time as of now.

Mohammed Siraj has found the second breakthrough for team India as he bowled out Usman Khawaja. Australia 43/2 after 20 overs, lead by 148 runs.

Khawaja and Labuschagne are taking their time to settle and score runs. Australia 32/1 after 13 overs, lead by 137 runs.

Jasprit Bumrah has found an early breakthrough as he straight-up bowled out Sam Konstas. Australia 20-1 after 7 overs.
