The Indian T20I team is facing England in a five-match series, where the first match is being played (as of the time this article is being written) at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Both teams received massive boosts as star pacers Mohammed Shami and Jofra Archer made a return to their respective teams.
Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and decided for the team to bowl first. Surya told the broadcaster that the team’s preparations has been good for the match, and they are looking forward to this series.
“We will look to bowl first. The wicket looks sticky, there will be dew later on. It will be heavier later on. The boys have been amazing. The preparations have been good, looking forward to this series. It’s going to be great competition between both the sides. A good headache, we want to stick to our strengths,” said Suryakumar Yadav after winning toss.
