IND vs BAN 2nd Test Live: Day 2 abandoned due to rain
Rain has completely taken over the second Day in Kanpur and it is highly likely that the day will be abandoned without a single ball being bowled

On Day 1, Bangladesh made 107 for 3 after 35 overs of playing. The match saw a delayed start due to bad weather and got called out for the same reason. The game was called off before 3 pm IST.
That is all the time we have for today folks. We will return tomorrow for the third day of the Test match and let’s just hope that the rain stops by that time so that the play can finally be resumed.
The second day of the Kanpur Test has now been washed out due to rain. This announcement was expected to come sooner or later and it has finally come as there are no signs of the rain stopping anytime soon.
Neither has it been raining nor been drizzling, covers are still on and super soppers are still running on the covers.
Super Soppers are being ran on the covers as there is a lot of water on the covers. The rain still continues.
It has not poured for a while, but the rain covers are still on the field. As the lunch time comes close, the first session has been declared gone.
The drizzle has stopped, but heavier rain shower is expected in a short amount of time. Hence the covers are not being removed as of now.
Both the teams have arrived at the venue. Kohli is having conversation with other players while the Bangladeshi team is checking the conditions from the dressing room.
“The start of play for Day 2 in Kanpur has been delayed due to rains” is the update from BCCI, along with the umpires walking out to have a look at the conditions with umbrellas.
