On Day 2 of the fourth Test at the JSCA stadium in Ranchi, India and England are engaged in a see-saw struggle as they each attempt to take the upper hand. India is still 222 runs behind England’s first innings total of 353 after reaching 131 for 4 at tea.
With Sarfaraz Khan (1*) at the other end, Yashasvi Jaiswal (54*) has carried on from where he left off in the previous Test, scoring a patient half-century.
In the first and second periods, India lost wickets to skipper Rohit Sharma (2), Shubman Gill (38), Rajat Patidar (17), and Ravindra Jadeja (12).
