India faces England as captain Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and decided to bowl first in the 2nd T20I in Chennai on February 25. There were two major changes in the team as Washington Sundar and Dhruv Jurel came in the playing XI in place of Rinku Singh and Nitish Kumar Reddy.
Suryakumar, the Indian captain, won the toss and decided to bowl first. When asked about the injured players in the team and playing XI, he said:
“We’ll look to bowl first. Looks a good track, hoping the wicket to be better in the evening. We want to stick to the basics. Really looking forward to the game. (Fielding) That’s one thing which brings everyone together. Nitish is ruled out, Rinku will miss one or two games. Washi and Jurel come in.”
By the time this article is being published, England team has completed their innings and have posted a score of 165/9. Varun Chakravarthy and Arshdeep Singh have yet again taken some crucial wickets and the Indian batters will look forward to complete their target and secure 2-0 lead over England.
