First ball of the super over was a wide, then another first ball was a single run. Second ball, Perera got caught out, and on the third ball Nissanka also got caught out. Sri Lanka only registered 2 runs in the super over. India just needs 3 runs to win.

One wicket was lost in second and third over each, now another one has been lost in the 1st ball of 4th over. A floated ball on off-stump, Rinku Singh made room to loft the ball over cover but his shot was far too early. The ball went straight up in the air and Pathirana cleanly caught the ball. India 21-3 in 4 overs.

After the wicket of Shubhman in the previous over, now Sanju Samson also gets caught in the bowling of Sri Lanka. A full pitched ball shaping away just outside off, Samson was trying to send it to the leg-side but instead it went on towards the deep point. Sanju Samson out caught by Hasaranga as he goes back for a duck. India 13-2 after 3 overs.

Sri Lankan bowlers might be in good form today. Last ball of second over proved to have made a good impact. A good length delivery to the middle, whish Jaiswal tried to sweep but it didn’t go as planned. the ball slid under the bat and hit him on the front pad and umpire was more than clear to raise his finger.
