Hello and welcome to CricketCountry’s coverage of Match 6 of the Quadrangular A-Team One-Day Series between India A and National Performance Squad (NPS) at Townsville. Both India A and NPS won their previous matches and will be high on confidence in this game as well. NPS defeated Australia A by 12 runs, while India A beat South Africa A by three wickets. India A got off to a horrible start in their first game against Australia A, where they were bowled out for just 55. They lost the match by eight wickets with 197 balls to spare. NPS started the series off with a 17-run win against South Africa A.

NPS have in fact won both their matches in the tournament so far. They will look to make three in a row, which will put them in a commanding position in the series. NPS led by Sean Abbott have been excellent in the series so far and will look to perform well in this and the upcoming matches as well. Manish Pandey led from the front against South Africa A, finishing with an unbeaten ton to guide his team home. He was picked as the captain right at the last moment. After a poor show in the first match, he and his team have bounced back extremely well.

As far as the table is concerned, NPS are sitting at the top of the table with8 points from 2 matches. South Africa A and Australia A are placed second and third with five points apiece. India A lie at the bottom of the table with 4 points from 2 matches so far.
