India A take on the visiting South African team in at T20 warm-up match at Palam, near Delhi. The South African team will hope that they can get their acts together before the start of the T20 International (T20I) series against India, beginning from October 2. The Indian team are already in Dharamsala, the venue for the first T20I, but the South Africans will play a warm-up match before that, just to acclimatise with the conditions. The South Africans will be led by Faf du Plessis, who missed out the home series against New Zealand due to an injury. His form will be crucial in determining the outcome of the series. Amla is said to have some personal commitments and as a result will join the team a little later. Morkel, who was called-up in the last minute as a replacement for David Wiese, has still not received visa. The Proteas will hope that they can acquire his services ahead of the T20I series. They still have a formidable line-up with likes of AB de VIlliers, Quinton de Kock and JP Duminy playing this match today. The India A side, under the guidance of Rahul Dravid, will be led by Mandeep Singh. Mandeep was recently selected in the Punjab Ranji trophy squad, but had to forfeit the role of vice-captain to Yuvraj Singh.
