The tournament was supposed to start from March 22 and go on till April 3 but BCCI's broadcasting contract with Star Sports ends in March. <p></p> <p></p>With two matches scheduled in April including the finals, the series has been rescheduled so that the tournament ends on March 31 according to a report in <em>The Hindu. </em> <p></p> <p></p>Australia will be touring India first for a three-match ODI series to be played in Vadodara on March 12, 15 and 18. This would be followed by the T20I tri-series between India, Australia and England ending before April. <p></p> <p></p>The ODI series between India and England would be held on April 6, 9 and 12 and will be telecast by the new media rights holder. BCCI has invited bids for the media rights for the next five years from April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2023. <p></p> <p></p>India women won the ODI series by 2-1 and the five match T20I series by 3-1 in their South Africa tour.
