Virat Kohli’s stunning knock of 183 may have clinched victory over Pakistan, but it hasn’t ensured India’s passage to the final of the Asia Cup 2012.

Pakistan top the points table with nine points from three games, followed by India with eight.

Pakistan lost to India on Sunday, March 18, but didn’t concede the bonus point, which guarantees them a spot in the final.

Their competetitors for the final would be decided on Tuesday, March 20 when Bangladesh take on Sri Lanka.

The Lankans have been knocked out of the tournament and Bangladesh will qualify for the final if they win. A Sri Lankan win would ensure India’s qualification.
