As the sun set at the Sher-E-Bangla National Stadium and the floodlights came on, India and Sri Lanka had only one thing in mind: the ICC World T20 2014. On Sunday, the two teams will battle it out at the same venue in the final of a tournament that has seen them dominate other sides to get to the summit clash.

There was a bit of frenzy on the eve of the final as captains MS Dhoni and Lasith Malinga posed with the trophy and then conducted press conferences. As the dust settled, both sides were on the field to practice.

The mood seemed pretty relaxes in the distance as the Indians trained. Sudhir Kumar Gautam, India’s super-fan, was right behind them as they went through the motions. But, interestingly, they had a long round of football, just like they had in the days leading up to the semi-final against South Africa.

On the other hand, Sri Lanka were absorbed in their fielding practice at the opposite end of the ground.
