The Indian blind cricket team on Thursday returned from a disappointing 12-day tour of Pakistan during which it lost both the Twenty20 and ODI series.

The Indian blind cricket team on Thursday returned from a disappointing 12-day tour of Pakistan during which it lost both the Twenty20 and ODI series.
Skipper Shekar Naik, however, hailed the performance of his team and said that such tournaments should be held on a regular basis.
“We are happy that we managed to win one of the T20 matches. Indian players should be exposed to such events on more frequent basis and they should be treated at par with the normal cricketers,” said Naik.
India managed to win just one match during the entire tour, going down 1-2 in the three-match T20 series, while 0-3 in the three-match ODI rubber.
The tour was organised by the Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI) in association with a Bangalore based NGO, Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled. (PTI)
