India squad for Zimbabwe tour to be announced on Monday

The series will comprise of three ODIs and two T20Is.

New Delhi: The Indian cricket team, which will tour Zimbabwe for three One-Day Internationals (ODI) and two Twenty20 Internationals, will be selected here on Monday. Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) All-India Senior Selection Committee will meet here to select the teams for the forthcoming tour which commences on July 10.

The committee will also select the India A team that will participate in a tri-series against Australia A and South Africa A to be held in Chennai and Wayanad from July 19. Following the conclusion of the meeting, BCCI secretary Anurag Thakur and chairman of selectors Sandeep Patil will address the press.

Earlier, the series was under a cloud of doubt owing to broadcaster and player fatigue issues BCCI was not comfortable with Ten Network having rights to the series as it a subsidiary of the Essel Group that are tipped to be working on an anti-establishment rebel T20 league.
