India will have to win the match to regain the Border-Gavaskar trophy. For Australia, they can settle for a draw to take it home, as they had triumphed in the previous series Down Under. However, they will leave no stone unturned to win the final contest and register their first series win in India since 2004-05. Given they managed to play out the entire Day Five at Ranchi, the momentum is with them.
Amidst all this, Virat Kohli will undergo fitness Test on the morning of Day Five. He had hurt his right shoulder while trying to save a certain boundary. India have drafted in Shreyas Iyer as cover. Whether the Indian captain will play in the all-important contest, is a question only time will tell.
