James Faulkner‘s blazing century had kept Australia in the game in the seventh One-Day International (ODI) against India at Bangalore. However, India just got back into the game as Clint McKay was bowled by Ravindra Jadeja off the last ball of the 45th over. Australia are 326 for nine.

Faulkner raced to his ton off 57 balls and became the fastest ODI centurion for Australia. Chasing a mammoth 384, Australia were just alive as they had lost too many wickets for the liking. The McKay wicket should do the job for India.

On a batting beauty, we have seen numerous records tumble and it remains to be seen if there are more in store.
