Indian pacers started off on a solid not against Bangladesh in thy first One-Day International (ODI) at Dhaka. Mohit Sharma and Umesh Yadav started the proceedings for India and Mohit bowled a maiden first-up. Tamim Iqbal was dismissed for a 11-ball duck in the fourth over by Umesh.

Yadav in his second over gave away a wide and a single in his second over. In the third over, Anamul almost chopped in an incoming delivery on to the stumps. The openers overall have looked very tentative in playing their strokes.  Anamul’s fellow opener Tamim Iqbal too has been quiet. Both are aggressive batsmen and Indians have done well not giving any room to them. Tamim fell for it later as he went for a tentative push and was caught behind.

Bangladesh had win the toss and elected to bat. The weather is slightly cloudy and rain is ikely to interrupt the proceedings later in the day.
