Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan have batted very well after India had lost Ajinkya Rahane early in the innings. India are chasing 181 for victory in the lone T20 International against England at Edgbaston. India had lost Rahane in the second over with the second on 10. India are 53 for one in six overs.

Dhawan has attacked anything that has been on his feet. he has already smacked a six over square-leg and hit a four in similar fashion. Kohli too has looked good with those typical wrists coming into play. Dhawan then picked Steven Finn for a six over fine-leg to help India get to fifty.

Earlier, England won the toss and chose to bat first. Jason Roy made his debut for England. For India, Ambati Rayudu and Karn Sharma made their T20 International debuts. The captains, MS Dhoni and Eoin Morgan are playing their respective 50th T20 Internationals. Morgan has played a few for Ireland though. Dhoni has played 49 of those as captain. Morgan celebrated the occasion with a brilliant 71 run off 31 balls. That innings helped take England to 180 runs. England smashed 81 runs off the last 10 overs.
