India vs England 2014, Only T20I at Edgbaston: Virat Kohli dismissed after well-made fifty

Kohli has put India on the dirvers' seat though with the visitors needing just 50 off 34.

After Virat Kohli reaches his scintillating fifty, Suresh Raina also got on to the act and India are dealing with boundaries against England in the Only T20 International. The Indian batting talisman was then culpable of going for one shot too many Chris Woakes took a good diving catch running forward. The damage has been done though and Kohli has put India in sight of victory.

Earlier, England won the toss and chose to bat first. Jason Roy made his debut for England. For India, Ambati Rayudu and Karn Sharma made their T20 International debuts. The captains, MS Dhoni and Eoin Morgan are playing their respective 50th T20 Internationals. Morgan has played a few for Ireland though. Dhoni has played 49 of those as captain. Morgan celebrated the occasion with a brilliant 71 run off 31 balls. That innings helped take England to 180 runs. England smashed 81 runs off the last 10 overs.
