Hello all. Welcome to CricketCountry‘s coverage of the fifth day of the final Test between India and England at The Oval. After 70 days, we have finally reached the final day of this historic tour. While the Test series has been sealed by England, India would like to bow out with a fight. But with three wickets down for 58 and Virat Kohli back in the dressing room, everything seems to be predicting towards a 4-1 outcome. India will have to bat out of their skins to save this one.
Today will marks an important day in the career of England fast bowler James Anderson. He is just one wicket away from becoming the fast bowler with most Test wickets. He is currently tied with Glenn McGrath at 563, taking two Indian top-order wickets yesterday, and the precious wicket is around the corner. Stay tuned.
